Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. Isaiah 43:18-19, 25
This is my story. I used to be someone that walked outside of grace. I was legalistic, hardline, unkind, and full of prejudice toward a great many things. I believed in a life of performance, doing all I could to serve God, please God, and earn his love and forgiveness.
I was totally wrong.
God’s grace finally found me and when I finally allowed him to plead his case with me (much like God is doing with Israel in Isaiah 43), I listened. I believed him, and I changed my mind (metanoia – repented) of my former mindset. Once I was willing to believe his compelling grace, my eyes were opened to see the full revelation of his grace. From that moment, my life was and is continuing to be totally transformed.
The posts on this blog attest to the complete transformation God’s grace is having in my life. My prayer is that all who come across this simple site will have a transforming encounter of the superabounding, unmerited, undeserved grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace. Acts 20:24
