How Does God See You?

How Does God See You-I never understood that God saw me a different way than I saw myself until God’s grace got a hold on me. I learned that I was seeing myself through eyes of betrayal, hurt and rejection and in turn was constantly striving for approval and perfection. When I learned that these beliefs were lies, my life was transformed instantly by grace. My eyes were filled with light and opened to see truth. I realized that the truth of my identity is how God sees me through the finished work of Christ and by grace. In this post, I would like to share truth from God’s Word about how He sees you in order to break off lies, strongholds, addictions, shame and anything that is holding you back from unlocking the door to a new life in Christ. This is your reveal…

You are a new creation in Him!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17

You are reconciled in Christ! My message is reconciliation and freedom.

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19

You are righteous and holy.

And to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:24

You have been born again by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[b] gives birth to spirit. John 3:3-6

You are saved by grace as a gift, not because of your performance.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8

Now, you understand you have a new life in Christ. Once you have broken off wrong belief systems, God is beckoning you to step into His spotlight and radiate like never before.

You shine light wherever you go.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:14

You shine like a bright star in the night.

Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky. Philippians 2:15

You are a child of Light.

You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.1 Thessalonians 5:5

You are the salt of the earth.

You are the salt of the earth. Matthew 5:13

You are a reflection of Divine Light.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6

Beams and light and joy exude from within you.

Light shines on the godly, and joy on those whose hearts are right. Psalm 97:11

When you realize your worth, beauty and joy in Christ, you have the fearlessness to step into your destiny and reign in life.

You are a victor.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37

You have a heavenly calling.

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. Hebrews 3:1

You have royalty in my veins and lead with integrity.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9

You are designed for good works.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

You are a co-heir with Christ.

Now if we are children, then we are heirs- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. If indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share with His glory. Romans 8:17

You are chosen and called by God to bear fruit.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16

Now, speak these truths out loud to yourself. The power of life and death is in the tongue, so it is vital that you only allow the Truth to come out of your mouth.
